In a sector often dominated by neutral visual languages, the core concept of the identity is the belief that accessibility doesn’t have to be just black & white. Instead we merged adaptability & functionality with vibrant elements in compliance with accessibility guidelines to create a visual identity that embodies their belief that digital spaces are for everybody.



The name shapes the logo: A square expands into a cube by addition, representing interconnected participants & factors. Unfolded, it reveals an open space within. Continuous folding & unfolding forms modular, stackable elements that create a flexible identity for digital & print.

Compliance meets creativity
Adaptability & functionality directly guide the visual approach. The brand uses Atkinson Hyperlegible Next as its primary font. Atkinson was designed specifically by the Braille Institute to increase legibility for readers with low vision & to improve reading comprehension. Bold hues are paired with soft neutrals to create a confident, optimistic tone. Background and text colour pairings are tested using The Polypane color contrast checker against values defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure clarity on AAA level, the most complete accessibility ruleset.
Adding illustrations is an engaging & approachable way to communicate complex solutions. Abstract characters were chosen to represent diversity of the users & adjusted to suit the visual identity of Avatud Ruudud. By merging strict functional standards with expressive visual elements, the identity reflects their mission as a B2B company, while balancing credibility with contemporary character & compliance with creativity.
