Movement in motion from streetlight to spotlight

Reiko Kolatsk is a man of many talents: lifestyle & sports photographer, videographer, content creator & runner. A multidisciplinary creative driven by movement, curiosity, and craft.

But strong work alone is no longer enough in an oversaturated creative industry. There was a clear need for greater visibility and coherence across various mediums & touchpoints. The most important part of this journey was understanding what Reiko represents not only as a creator, but as a brand, & how to translate his mindset & aesthetic into a focused identity that feels intentional & unmistakably his.

Light commands everything in photography. Bold contrasts of light and dark shape images to feel sculpted rather than simply shot. The logo expresses this idea with typography: Big & bold letterforms of the initials act as monuments that contrast light letters, mimicking light’s ability to highlight & hide.

The tagline "Movement in Moments" captures the dual meaning of moving: Being emotionally powerful and physically in motion. Every moment captured with a lens is alive, transforming real-life motion into experiences that continue to move long after. The hand-written tagline reflects movement & adds a living, human touch, further amplifying the idea.

Inspired by the cinematic tension & colour of Reiko’s favourite Quentin Tarantino’s films, the palette consists of saturated red and mustard yellow against a dominant black-and-ivory foundation. Colours combined with graphic elements function both as a container and a statement. It frames the photography without overshadowing it, yet stands out across merchandise worn on urban explorations & runs.
