Small details for a big day
Not all projects are big in scale to feel big. This design project centers on a handful of bespoke illustrations for a wedding, specifically for invitations and a limited-edition wedding beer. Inspired by symbolic ornamentation, rhythmic floral structures & bold colour palettes of traditional Estonian wedding tapestries (pulmavaip or abielukatus in Estonian), these illustrations mark unity & celebration.

Floral motifs symbolize the binding of two lives. Growing together, blossoming, forming something stronger as a whole narrate the couple’s commitment visually. The central illustration is adorned with songbirds and cats. The birds nod to Estonia’s rich singing tradition, while the cats lovingly acknowledge the couple’s four-legged family members.
